Billing & Usage

When do my usage limits reset?

Your usage limits (AI actions, exports, etc.) reset on the 1st of each calendar month at midnight UTC. This applies to all users regardless of subscription type—whether you're on a free plan, monthly subscription, or yearly subscription.

Why do limits reset monthly even for yearly subscriptions?

We believe all Pro users should get the same monthly allowance of AI actions and exports. A yearly subscription saves you money compared to paying monthly, but your usage limits still refresh each calendar month so you always have access to your full allocation.

What counts toward my usage limits?

  • Resumes: The number of resumes you have (including recently deleted ones within the cooldown period)
  • AI Actions: Each time you use AI features like normalize, tailor, or improve
  • Exports: Each time you download a resume as PDF, DOCX, HTML, or Markdown
  • Jobs: The number of active job applications you're tracking

What happens when I hit a limit?

You'll see a message indicating you've reached your limit. You can either wait until the 1st of the next month for your limits to reset, or upgrade to Pro for higher limits.

Account & Data

Can I export my data?

Yes! Go to Settings and use the data export feature to download all your resumes, job applications, and account data.

What happens if I delete a resume?

Deleted resumes enter a cooldown period before being permanently removed. During this time, they still count toward your resume limit to prevent abuse of the deletion system.

Pro Subscription

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Your data is preserved, but you may not be able to create new resumes or use AI features if you exceed the free plan limits. You can always upgrade again to regain full access.
