Our Story

My Awesome Resumes was born from a real job search challenge that many professionals face.

After being laid off, I dove into the job market armed with what I thought was a solid resume. I even hired a professional resume writer to help craft it. But I quickly discovered a frustrating truth: a single "standout" resume wasn't cutting it.

With over two decades in tech, spanning different technology stacks and roles as both an individual contributor and engineering manager, I had plenty of experience to highlight. The problem was that each job opportunity called for a different emphasis. A startup wanted to see my hands-on coding. An enterprise role cared more about my leadership and team-building. Each application needed a tailored version of my story.

I found myself constantly tweaking my resume, losing track of which version I sent where, and wondering if I was actually putting my best foot forward for each opportunity.

So I built a solution.
